Artistic director Rachael Nanyonjo creates choreographies and new work not only for the company but for other creative organisations in and outside of dance.

Cross Art Form Workshops

This workshop is suitable for actors, writers, dancers and individuals interested in cross art form ways of working. The workshop is delivered by Rachael and one of the company collaborators.



Rachael consults with music artists, theatre companies, directors, writers during rehearsals and outside as a movement director. She is brought in to stage plays, create movement sequences and collaborate with these artists on devising and narrating their stories.

Working Globally

Artistic director Rachael Nanyonjo has worked in Germany and Uganda teaching dance workshops and developing new partnerships and projects. In 2015 she was a British Council & Arts Council Artists International Development Fun recipient on a dance research development and documentation project to Kampala Uganda working with Tabuflo Dance Company, Mackeree University, Ndere Centre and arts organisation Batalo East.



We offer project management & consultancy services to dance, theatre and creative industries.

Theatre/Dance Workshops

Kansaze Dance provide bespoke workshops which are tailored to meet the needs and level of the group. We work with a wide range of individuals from Key stage 2, GCSE and under 18s, students/graduates and professional and non -professional performers. As a company who collaborate with different art forms we run cross art form workshops sharing our process of devising.
