Cross Art Form Workshops

This workshop is suitable for actors, writers, dancers and individuals interested in cross art form ways of working. The workshop is delivered by Rachael and one of the company collaborators. Its aims to develop your creative tools by fusing release, contact improvisation and theatre techniques such as Alexander technique stimulating the body, voice and mind. We look at the following ideas during the workshop:

–          Preparing the body and the voice for movement through using contemporary dances such as release and contact improvisation fused with Alexander Technique (theatre).

–          Share tools on creating choreography and physicality for theatre-based works.

–          Starting points of how to write in the studio.

–          Finding character while acting and moving by exploring Theatre Laban Efforts in dance and theatre.
